FO : Red Cable Sweater

Finally I finished this red sweater. I started this sweater on January 2007... fiiuuuhhh... 6 months ago...!!! Why ? well, sometimes I got bore, like when I've finished the back and front body, I was so lazy to continue to make the sleeves. Well...

I made this sweater for Aqiel, but I don't know, his size six months ago much different than today. When he wear this sweater this morning, oh my God... it's too small for him.

So I told him to give this to his brother Ahmed. And for Ahmed, it's too big. The sleeves are too long. You still growing Ahmed, that's OK...

This is my first cable knit. It's only simple cable pattern, but now I know how to do it.

OK, time to start another project......

Kue Lapis square

These simple squares are remind me of Kue Lapis (layer cake), it's a traditional sweet cake made of rice flour, because Kue Lapis usually has these colours.

I still don't have any idea what to do whit these squares, I just kinda like to make it in various combination. Would it be a bag ? or a blanket, or just a throw ? I dunno.....

Just want to share the pictures, so..enjoy..and give me some idea.....

Second MT

Finally I finished this second MT, a center piece ... perfect for my new house he..he..he..

MOVING...

Next June we'll be 2 years here in Kuala Lumpur, so we decided to find a new home. Living in apartement was Ok, it's an easy living, especially living in our previous aparment. But we need more space for the children so they can playing outdoor, cycling, playing football etc.

And we find this house, big enough for us, with 5 bedroom and 4 bathroom, store, and the most important thing is it has a yard. This is like a townhouse concept with only one gate to enter and exit this housing complex. I like it.

So come and see our new house....

The dining table, but the boys love to do their homework here instead of in their room upstair.

The kitchen, i am not so happy with this kitchen. The landlord doesn't provide what I want to. Only a small oven toaster whish is too small for me, a microwave ( this is Ok but still our previous one was bigger), one refrigerator is not enough for us since I used to have stockfood for a week, the landlord promised to give us another refridge. And I miss my big oven in Regency Tower. Well...can't say anything more........
