Catedral Window - Quilt Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, In 1993 Evelyn Lauder, Senior Corporate Vice President of the Estée Lauder Companies founded The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and established the Pink Ribbon as its symbol, though this was not the first time the ribbon was used to symbolize breast cancer.


I made this pink catedral window to all the women in the world... please love yourself, love your body, do mammography if you feel something wrong with your breast...

...also this one is for Julie Fey, my friend who had battle with cancer, rest in peace Julie our memory is still with you...

I am painting with fabrics...

It's appliqué, and I am not that good in it.

It's from a japanese book (as usual -- I don't know what they say) but I do know how to do it... just not good enough.

But.... at least I've tried it.

It's a purse actually with landscape applique cover.

Love it and must do more often ....

Bali Batik - quilt top

Setelah penasaran pengen bikin something with my bali batik akhirnya terpilihlah warna ini.

Pemilihan warna yang aneh kah ? ungu dan hijau ?

Tadinya pengen pink dan hijau, tapi pinknya terlalu tajam, takut sakit mata ha..ha..

Baru quilt topnya, nunggu bathing nya, belum punya....

Carrot and Spinach

I name this baby quilt 'Carrot and Spinach'

This is for Dience baby girl, momma doesn't want blue or pink... so bu dhe bagi warna ini yaa...

Selalu suka perpaduan antara orange dan hijau segar, seperti wortel dan bayam pas mau masak sayur bobor...

Backing kain katun dari IKEA, fresh green, white and blue stripe....

Sayang gak ngecek bagian bawahnya, hiks... ngequiltnya malem malem, pas pagi di lihat hu..hu.. lha kok gini...

Semoga menjadi anak sholehah penyejuk hati kedua orang tua, semoga warna warna cerah yg bu dhe pilih sesuai, jadilah putri yang mencerahkan dan membahagiakan orang banyak, amin...

Purple Pine Shawl

Finish this shawl last August.

Yarn : Purple Softy Cotton Thalenta (2,5 ball)

Hook : 7/8 Tulip

Pattern : Japanese crochet book

Itu di foto pas lagi di blocking... kayaknya sih kurang sempurna, mungkin harus tiap sudut di pin ya, ini cuma beberapa saja.

Belum sempet motret pas dipakainya biar jelas seberapa besar.
