Fence Rail Cushion cover

I made this two cushion cover to change the old one.
It is a simple pattern, fence rail. The finish size is 16" x 16".

These are what you need to make it :

Material :

Fabric : 6 different colour for the fence rail block, cut two : 1 1/2" x 26"
Gold for the border :
cut four : 2 1/2" x 12 1/2"
cut four : 2 1/2" x 16 1/2 "
Gold for the back side :
cut two : 10" x 16 1/2"
cut two : 12 1/2" x 16 1/2 "
4 button

How to sew ?

Arrange six colour of fabric and sew strips together, then cut the sets apart every 6 1/2" as shown in the picture above. Do the same for another strips.

See the picture above for the block sew order.

Joint the border for each block

Sew the back side, make it overlap, make the button hole and sew the button.
Joint the front side and the back side.

You may quilt the block but in this cushion I did not do it because I was so lazy to do it...

forgive me...*sigh..*

Gold star hat for Yuni's baby

I finished this hat a couple days ago...

This hat is for Yuni's baby, I hope Yuni will like it.

The pattern is same as the purple hat I made for Icha. But since this hat is for a baby boy I have no idea what should I put in it ?

As I didn't have enough time I decided to stitch a simple felt gold star in it.

I don't remember what kind of yarn I used. No more brand or description of this yarn.
Oh well ... congratulation Yuni... and welcome to the club :)

Bag for mbak Andry

Mbak Andry will leave KL this September. She has to follow her husband who has been transfered to Pertamina Jakarta again. Sure I am gonna miss her. She's not only friend to me, she also my cooking teacher. She is very kind and cheerful lady, she is the one who can make you laugh...

Above is the square, I got the pattern from Japanese book which is I can not understand a single word, but thank God there is a picture pattern.

I use 1 ball of gold rayon cotton from Thata's colection, and hook no 2.

I hope mbak Andry will like it.
